Not coming home ~ again.

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

I have been so terrible about taking the time to sit down and write. It is not like I am doing anything of importance. I just don’t have much to talk about.

The weather here is very frigid! The snowdrifts are very high. Yikes! School has already been cancelled for Monday and I have already arranged for Curly to do the banking.

Dick went to town to get the plow truck, came back home plowed the driveway, then he went back to town to watch pay per view wrestling. Of course that includes drinking so I told him to just stay in town. I would rather have him stay in town and be safe rather than drive home, especially on these roads right now, after he has been drinking. It has been a common occurrence that he stays in town ~ it works for me. I don’t have to deal with him after he has been out. I don’t try to stop him from going either. Go, be gone, have a good time ~ as long as I am home with the kids I don’t care.

The thing that really pisses me off is that he brings the kids to town with him then ends up somewhere drinking, then drives home with them. That pisses me off! I have asked him not to drink and drive with the kids in the car and I have explained to him the consequences. It happened again last night. I told the kids there is going to come a day that they end up in a foster home because he has no higher priority than drinking. If he gets stopped with them in the car and he has been drinking they are gone. It is neglect, endangerment, and abuse. I don’t know if he just does not believe me or just does not care. I have even said that when he does start drinking when he has the kids with him to wait until I get done working and I will pick them up. It is not like they get home much earlier anyway. He gets home in just enough time to be sleeping before I get home.

I get to be the terminator again. I hate that but he has got to go. If you want a job you have to show up for your scheduled shifts. Rather than working Saturday night he took a DJing gig. Sorry! Not my fault! He knew his schedule before he took the gig. He chose his schedule. Everyone chooses his or her schedule. Been nice knowing you, take your high energy and go somewhere else. It is not a bad thing for me that he has to go. His high energy gets on my nerves.

See…I told you I really have nothing to write about.

The kids and I watched Uptown Girls tonight. That is a neat movie. I have to buy it now. This falls in the same category as Now and Then. I know that the girls would watch Uptown Girls over and over.

I have getting droopy so while the getting is good I am going to take the chance to sleep. It is still fairly early for me but..I feel tired now if I wait for my second wind I will not sleep at all.

shame on Dick for driving after drinking with the kids in the car. You would think that he knows what would happen if he were to get busted. {{hugs}} to you
