Goings On

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

Of all days lately today I feel like just sitting at the computer and vegging out but I can’t. The kids have some 4-H function going on at the school then Tyler gets s to play basketball for a couple of hours. Maybe I can run it all together so I don’t have to drive to the school and back twice. I can spend the idle time getting gas ~ for my car.

I forgot to fill up while I was in town for banking yesterday. When I got home I noticed (again) that I was getting low. “I will do it on my way home from work.” After work I just jumped in my car and took off for home. Just as I was pulling into the driveway I was blinded by the light ~ the low fuel light! Yikes! It is not a good thing to let the tank get that low this time of the year in the Frozen Tundra! I know that in the summertime I can get to town on that gas but I am not sure about now. I will not take the chance running out of gas. I will fill up in Dinkytown.

The girls had another basketball game Thursday. (I have not been posting the games here this year.) The opposing team did not show up so they had a scrimmage. Wow! If this team could be that aggressive against the other teams that they play, these girls could do some damage! This was the best game that I have ever watched them play ~ in the three years that my girls have been playing! Again I say wow!

I thought that I had a bunch of stuff to write about and I probably did before the kids got up and started playing table hockey/foosball and watching TV with the volume blaring! I did not get much quiet time this morning.

I have a nasty sinus infection! I have been miserable for about three days! My nose is raw from blowing and my hands are dry from using hand sanitizer. I have chapped lips. I am just a mess! But guess what? It will kill me or I will survive! I am a positive that I will survive.

Oh, I better go hop in the shower so we can get to the 4-H function. Now Tyler is deciding whether he wants to play basketball or not play basketball today. He probably has some other plan up his sleeve and is not telling what that plan might be. No doubt it has something to do with riding the 4-wheeler or snow machine. Boys and their toys!

Have a Great Day!

Well I hope you got gas in Dinkytown. LOL!I would think that one would turn into an icecube in the part of the country if one ran out of gas. I hear you on the dry hands, chapped lips, red nose and sinus infection. Same here. MISERABLE!!!! Plus, my ear hurts because I stuck my little finger in my ear and scratched it with my fingernail. Now I am having to dr. that with peroxide to get it well.
