Just An Update So That You know I Am Still Here
You would think that getting precipitation, in December, in the Frozen Tundra that it would be snow. But oh no, we can not be getting snow. It has to be raining! Now, really I do not mind the mild temperature but these temperatures are only temporary. Too soon we will have freezing temperatures again and with that we will have glare ice! I am certainly not looking forward to driving on that! But on the other side of the state they have snow, freezing rain, and slick roads. So I do feel fortunate that I only had to drive home on a wet highway.
Taken from our local newspaper:
The National Weather Service said the western part of the state could get up to 10 inches of snow, along with 40 mph winds, by Sunday
Yuck! Like I said I feel fortunate.
No drama, no events, no fun! Nothing! Life is goes on, time flies. I really have nothing else to write about. Unless you want to hear about the article that I picked up off Alexas bedroom floor ~ with my foot. I am not sure what the piece of wood was but it was embedded in my foot. I pulled it out but still have a sliver in my heel. I dug at it (just a little bit) with a pin but that did no good. I did not do more damage with the pin. I am too afraid to break the skin on my feet. Having a job that I stand for eight hours I just can not afford to damage my feet, especially the bottoms.
There has been a lot of pool played. I think that the kids have played more pool than they have played the PS2. We really need to decide what we are going to do with a table around here. We also need to decide which table is going to be moved or removed. We have a table in the kitchen that I have had for many years that I am not willing to give up. We have a table that belonged to Dicks parents that I really dont want to get rid of. So that is the dilemma! Which one has to go to the garage? I vote for neither and just add on a huge room that can be used as a recreation room.
I am off to play some PS2!
No matter how big a house, no matter how much room you have, the things you have increase to fill the space. Just like rabbits. Or cats. 🙂 – – – –
