Job Opening

See what I mean about writing and posting an entry at the same time. I just can’t seem to make it happen. I started this last night/this morning and here it still sits!

So I have been decorating my diary’s front page for Christmas. I still have Halloween decorations all over my house. I just can not get into the groove to get it put away. I should have taken the time to do it today but I didn’t. Instead of doing housework other than laundry I sat in front of my computer uploading graphics to use on my front page. Then I tried to figure out how to be able to use the backgrounds that go with the graphics. I never did figure it out so I just chose colors.

I am in a slump when it comes to keeping house. I have never been Ms. Super Tidy nor have I been Ms. Super slob either. I guess it is just bothering me right now so tomorrow morning I will get up and whip through the house and get it looking decent. There is just so much clutter.

Separating the girls so that they each have their own room did not help one bit. Now there is just one more room that is a total disaster area! Bringing home all those clothes from Mom and Dad’s did not help matters at all! We still need to go through the bags and get the clothes put in a dresser drawer or hung up in the closets.

I must check the help wanted ads in the newspaper. This is the story that I was told: A former bartender asked one of my former “kids” if I had been fired because there was an ad in the paper for my job.

Upon searching the local on-line newspaper, I found an ad but I do not believe that it is for my position.

Gaming Management Position – Must be dedicated to giving outstanding customer service, anxious to learn every aspect of our operation, and able to offer firm fair staff supervision. 4-year degree required and management experience a plus. Competitive salary plus tips & a great benefit package.

This is what throws me off: 4 year degree required and management experience a plus. They hired me without a degree but I did have experience.

I am going to talk to my supervisor about it as soon as possible because if I am getting fired I better get another job lined up. As much as I would like to be a stay at home mom, that is not even feasible. I have too much debt!

As if I don’t already have enough to worry about! Now I am just sick! Here we go again ~ another sleepless night. Maybe I will take some cough syrup that knocks me out. Oh, let’s get dependent on cough syrup to sleep! I am such a psycho!

I was hoping that I would get a “ping” and have a positive entry. This falls short of positive!

The next day……

I talked to my supervisor. The position that is being advertised is neither his nor mine. Same city, different site. I was pretty sure that it was not my position ~ they don’t pay enough to have a person with a four-year degree in my position.
