Trip Home and This Morning
Sunday we drove home caravan style. Mostly me chasing Dick. I had one heck of a time trying to keep up with him. I am not all that comfortable driving 80 MPH. Even though the roads were clean and the weather was nice that is just too fast to be driving with kids in the car. I was not that far behind him just going the speed limit.
We made it home in in 51/2 hours. Then we all piled into my car and we drove to town for supper. I was in no mood to cook! (Lazy!) Once we got back from town the girls finally got to do their homework.
Nadine still had a lot of her math paper to do but did not understand it. So I explained it the best that I could and she finished the one page that she was having trouble with. The next page was tougher! But I was able to help ~ I did the problems and she did the problems then we compared answers. We both came up with the same answers on most of them. If there was a difference then we both did that problem over. When I knew that she knew what she was doing I sent her to bed ~ she only a few problems left. I hope she has time to complete the assignment.
Dick was helping Alexa and he was doing the same thing. When it came to dividing decimals I got lost! I can do it but I struggle!
They both had the same worksheet because they had a substitute. There was no sense in giving such a big homework assignment to do over the holiday. But they both almost finished the assignment.
This morning it was hard getting the kids out of bed. They were all up so late ~ including Tyler.
I gave Tyler a ride to school because I was still giving him a haircut when the bus arrived. He was such a raggy muffin that I had to do something with his hair. I am sure that I will have to finish it after school.
I am not sure who is banking and who opens today so I best get ready to go ~ with my uniform in tow ~ just in case!
I may be back later this afternoon ~ but if not have a great day!
Dick was driving 80 when i followed him this summer! LOL I’m glad your home safe and sound!

Heck, 80 ain’t so bad… I think I was driving that all the way from Minneapolis last summer! hehehe It sure cuts down on the time on the road! Which is a blessing, if you ask me!
