Woe is My Computer!

Oh Ugh! I know less about my computer than I think that I do! I know that makes no sense but I get in a mode ~ way too often ~ while in that mode I try to rid my computer of things that I don’t need and/or want. Like stuff that downloaded without my knowledge but still show up in the options to load on start-up. It is not a big deal as long as they are not checked they are not going to start but I don’t want to take the chance. Even though I think that I deleted/uninstalled the crap! At least this time my computer is still running. It is just running a bit slower than I would like it to! I need a computer expert (not me) to help me with this or just reformat my hard drive again. Reformatting is a pain in the you know what! Decisions, decisions!

I think that I have it running okay. I tried to download the pictures and videos that I had on my digital camera. Somehow I uninstalled the software for it but that was an easy fix because I have that on CD. But I did not have my camera to take the basketball game tonight ~ actually last night now.

My Sister-in-Law sent me pictures. It took over 40 minutes to download them from the server. It was an E-mail that was 6271 KB and we all know that with my super slow dial-up everything takes forever. The pictures are well worth the 40+ minutes that it took to get them. My one niece decorated a jack-o-lantern. I am sure that here mother did the carving. It is so sweet ~ she is sitting there so proudly with her jack-lantern. The baby did not get to do one yet because she was napping. Perfect time to carve a pumpkin.

I wonder if SunshineGuy remembers how I had my webcam on while carving pumpkins. I can not remember if it was last year or the year before.

*STOP CLICKING ON ENTRIES ON THE FRONT PAGE! THAT ONLY LEADS TO TROUBLE!*

I did exactly that above and it happened to be an FOD and again I got warnings from my firewall that I had to click “block” on eight times yet something got through. I wonder if the DiaryMaster knows that this goes on. Somehow I want to say that he doesn’t realize it. Even though I clicked no on the install or download I found it in my start up when I ran msconfig! How do I get that shit out of there!

Okay enough of that now! I better write my next entry about the topics that I have listed. It seems that someone is concerned about the topic MOVING.

You really have to read those questions. I’ve noticed that they have now started asking “Do you really want to stop this installation?”, instead of “do you want to continue?” Just a little advice.
