Days 18 of 24/7

#2 Daughter and I took a flying trip to Weymouth yesterday, which meant a total of about 5 hours of driving just to get there and back, and while we were there we did some more wandering around to Frenchy’s in Meteghan and Saulnierville and Weymouth. So there was a lot of driving and getting home later in the day (like around 8 pm) and who could write? Then, today was supercrazybusy at work, with 8 appointments and being on my feet non-stop pretty much from 9 to 5, doing massages. I did have a few minutes here and there to do my Blue Cross billing, so at least that got done. But again, by the time I got home and had something to eat (my daughter left me a nice homemade roast beef sub in the fridge), I was too tired again to write anything.

So maybe I can come up with a couple of quickies, so to speak.

Second Hand Shopping

We walk into Frenchy’s
To find what we may
Small size pink Converse
Make Granddaughter’s day

Then Daughter goes looking
through handbags galore
Dolce and Gabbana
is her major score

I pull out two Guccis
I’ll sell them online
And keep the Liz Claibornes
they suit me just fine

That actually covers the shopping spree. The Dolce and Gabbana purse and the Gucci purses are all genuine articles, slightly used, and bought for less than $3 Cdn each. Same for the Liz Claiborne purses, one of which is going to #2 Daughter; it’s a backpack style bag that she really likes. 

I’m done. Day 19 will have to be bundled with Day 20!
