A DAY IN THE LIFE

My days are never the same. Maybe Monday………………

Monday morning I go swimming. I go to the aquatic center about ten minutes away. It has two pools inside and a large one outside. There is also a wading pool for the youngest. One pool is a recreation pool and only goes up to my shoulders at one end. The other pool is DEEP!!!! It is seven to eight feet. The mayor who built it wants it to be used for competition.
I swim for a half hour. Then I take a shower and go to have lunch in the small cafeteria. Nothing too exciting. Monday I had melba toast and some cheese.
After lunch I go play Canasta. So much bickering !!!!!!!
I came home. Had my usual late afternoon nap. I made supper and then lazed around. I wish I would work on my hobbies but I don’t.
I forgot. This Monday my eldest son came for supper. I took out spaghetti and soup.

Tuesdays I volunteer at a local doctor’s home office. At night I play bridge.

Wednesday I go swimming and then usually have nothing special. Today I am picking up my grandchildren. I wish I could think of something exciting to do with them. So far nothing.

Thursday I usually go swimming.

Friday we’re off to the country.

That is my exciting week. Sorry but no pictures.

My week passes by really quickly.

There’s a smell in my kitchen. Must go see if I can find out what’s causing it.
