RUNNING ALL DAY

It’s 11:00. We just got home after driving and visiting all over Toronto. In the morning we went to hubby’s brother. We just had a short visit and then their children came. I think they come every week and for them I sure it boosts their morale. One daughter was leaving as we walked in. The other two daughters came shortly after. One has four children under four – a set of new born twins. The babies are precious. Others immediately picked them up and I knew there was no chance I would get to hold them. The other daughter came alone. She has much older children. Then my SIL came and my SIL’s sister. I stayed awhile but it became like a zoo so I left. I picked up my sister and went to a deli where we met our two cousins. We had a wonderful visit. I thought my sister would mind but she didn’t. I had a delicious delly platter with chopped liver, tongue and smoked meat. we had a great talk about old times etc.
After that I dropped my sister off at home. I went back to Michaels so I could pick up some stitch holders. I came back to the motel and had a nap.
Tonight we went to my daughters for supper. It was the first time at their new place. It is a very homey and lovely place. Hubby and I were quite impressed. They made a delicious supper – veal chops and lamb chops. They made a twice baked potato which was delicious. We sat and chatted for a couple of hours. It was great!!!!! I think my daughter has made a good choice.
She is planning to stop working in the summer. Instead she will work on her PHD. Once she gets it they will get married and hopefully start a family.
Tomorrow we leave for home. I got an email saying my friend is in ICU!
I got another email from my DIL saying my son broke his thumb. I still don’t know how. I will call tomorrow to see how I can help. His wife is going out of town for a week because of work! So I will have plenty to occupy my time once I get home.
Hubby and I have decided we will share the driving home. It’s good because I get bored and he gets tired. It will be good for both of us.
Time for bed. Tomorrow we head home. I am glad we decided not to stay another day,
