SITTING AND FALLING
Yesterday I fell off the chair while I was having breakfast. I was having coffee and reading the newspaper when all of a sudden I found myself slipping towards the floor. Luckily I didn’t get hurt. One of the legs of the chair just folded under me!!!!!!!!!!! I took it back to the store where we bought it and showed them what happened. I hope we get another. The problem is I have six kitchen chairs and I am afraid of the others!!!!
I went to have my mammogram done. On the way I drove way pass the building. I am never exactly sure where it is. Anyhow on the way I had to go to the bathroom. I stopped the car near a small grocery store – no bathroom. I had to walk another block but thank goodness I made it.
After the mammogram I bought a birthday card for my son. Since we don’t know what to give him we will just give cash. I went to Walmart and bought some wool so I have started the large cushion (beanbag chair) for him. I bought the wrong size hook so will have to get another. I might have some around but couldn’t think fo where they would be.
I think I will have to reorganize my craft room. I find it too small to work in. Of course now I have all my Passover dishes in there. I am thinking of buying those carts with drawers on wheels. I will store different crafts in each one. If I am not working on one craft I can take that cart downstairs to our storage room. On the other hand I can take whatever I want to use to our dining room table which is big and convenient. Even hubby works out there!
So tomorrow will be busy. I hope the hospital is not "closed" because of the holidays……………………
hospitals don’t ‘close’ for holidays but they may not consider a mammogram to be urgent enough to accept the appointment…I hope it works out ok. Sorry about the chair fall too….I am sure the others in the st are ok. hugs p

ryn: blake is going to florida to see his aunt, her hubby and his grandfather. it’s been several years since he’s seen them. hospitals never close. at least, not here in the states. but, they usually only do emergency things unless it’s an emergency. glad you didn’t hurt yourself when that chair leg went down on you. take care,

I’d be scared of the other chairs too. Things just aren’t made as good as they used to be.

I have one of those carts that I keep scrapbooking supplies in. I love it. And they’re not expensive.
