TIME TO GO HOME (7238 entries)*

Hubby and I have had a great winter.
We were both well.
We could both indulge in our favourite pastimes.
We had some delicious meals with family and friends.
We had quiet times to just BE!
We had time at the pool to play bridge and talk to friends.
I had time to read although I didn’t read as much as I would have liked to.
I swam about six times a week.
I didn’t lose weight but I didn’t gain either.
All in all we were so very lucky to spend the winter in such a beautiful state. – all sun and no snow!
Our friends have started to leave. One couple left for Israel this morning. Other couples will be leaving all week. Some couples are coming back after the holidays. It’s tempting but I don’t think we will.
I look forward to driving home and getting settled into another routine.
Tonight we went out with my cousins. We had a delicious meal. I had chicken parmesan.
Tomorrow is my birthday. I am spending most of the day with my cousin. I will go to her community center to see their art show. It’s amazing and wonderful to see what the seniors can do.  Then we will go to Macy’s. I am going to buy gold earrings for myself for my birthday. I am debating about shopping at PUBLIX. If I spend 50 I can buy a 50 cash card for gas for 40. I will certainly need it for the drive home. I can buy some Passover food which I will need when I get home. At night we are going to a friend’s home for supper. So it will be a full day.
My son is coming back from the cruise tomorrow. We will probably see them on Sunday. Not sure what we will do. Then Monday morning they are leaving for home.
So we have to think about packing. I will try to take as little as possible.
