I MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!

 I am finally in Toronto. It’s four fourteen a.m. I am still up. I guess I am overtired. I had a very busy day until I went to the airport. In the morning I did some washing and organized some stuff to pack. At 12 I went to the Mall to get my haircut, pedicure, manicure etc. I drove home for five! I packed quickly. Then we went for supper with friends. They dropped me off at the airport about eight.
My valise was overweight so I had to take out some books I bought for the children. Luckily there were two heavy books on the top so it was easy. Then I had to go through customs. I had to take off my shoes. I had to put each of my electronic toys in a different tray. OY!!!! Then of course I had to repack and reorganize everything. I was happy to finally board the plane. It wasn’t busy so I had an empty seat beside me. I sat with a young girl who works on yachts………sounded interesting. She said it paid better than on the big ships. She was on her way home for the holidays.
I arrived in TORONTO about 1:30. Then the fun began. It was a long walk to pick up the baggage even though there were walking sidewalks. I finally got my luggage – one very HEAVY valise. Then I had to find the car rental place. I was sent in ten different directions. Finally I found the car rental place but it was closed!!!!!! Luckily another place was open in the next aisle so I rented a car from them. Then I started to drive here. It was actually quite easy. I did take a wrong turn but I realized it right away. I stopped at a gas station and bought a lot of junk for the room. I put everything in a drawer as I don’t want my grabdchildren to see it.
I also put all their toys etc in a drawer. I can just see them running in and opening the drawers.
So now I am going to bed. Take care. More tomorrow.
