ANOTHER DAY IN FANTASY LAND

There is no other way to describe what it is like living here. It is living in another world untouched by all the evil and tragedy going on in the rest of the world. How very very very lucky my hubby and I are! The weather is wonderful! It is so peaceful!!! Of course we are listening to the news day and night struggling to understand and accept what is going on in the Middle East.
We have given a donation to the victims on the Eastern coast. I just hope it does some good. I know they need a lot more! One of my neighbours is not down yet. I am worried as she lives on the Boardwalk in a high-rise in Atlantic city.
This morning I went swimming as usual. It is very exciting to see how many French people are here. They have come here from Montreal! They are very friendly and having such a great time. I try to talk to them in French as I want to speak French so badly.
I went to stained glass. It is so frustrating as I find it a struggle to get pieces to fit together. Slowly but surely!
This afternoon I did three loads of washing and changed the bed. I had a nap while hubby folded the clothes and made the bed. He is a great guy!
I am taking a break from the news and listening to one of my CDS.
I am debating whether or not I should move my laptop etc. out of the dining room and into the craft room. Here it is so bright! However I am sure it is just as bright in the other room. Maybe I’ll move soon. Then the dining room and living room will look pretty – not that I care but probably hubby does. He just said it doesn’t matter to him. So here I will stay for now.
So that’s it for tonight. Not sure what I will do next. It’s too early to go to bed.

Do you have any pictures of your hometown? I would love to see the town that you live in. How nice that you have such a peaceful community. Our town has grown so very much in the last 10 years and the traffic alone is awful now. Have a great day.

Sounds great!! You do have so much to be thankful for!

I have to change sheets on my bed today. Plus I will be busy helping CaDonna get ready for Thanksgiving, we will have four extra people over, my son and his wife, and oldest grandson and his girl. So you add that to our 7 here and the house will be full, hehe. Love,

Here is the youtube video that I used to learn how to make these scarves. They are quite simple, you just need to learn to hold your left needle stationary and hold the yarn in your left hand. I was slow at firts but I just started a new one today and it’s almost done with between 4-5 hours of knitting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izDH51UmWNM&feature=share You should try it!

I got such a big smile on my face when I read your statement saying your husband is a great guy! It seems like the Florida sunshine has found it’s way inside you, too 🙂
