IT’S OVER

So I had my colonoscopy yesterday. It was easy and no pain at all. The only bad part was that I had five polyps removed. The doctor was NOT happy that I hadn’t been there for seven years. Part of the reason was that I had had a seizure and the my GP wanted to give me a break. Hopefully all will be ok. I have to go back November 14. Meanwhile we plan to leave for Florida November 1. We will try to get the appointment changed. If not hopefully our GP will be able to check results. I guess it is not something to let go because it could be serious. Anyhow I am NOT going to think about it.
I also wasn’t allowed to drive so didn’t take my grandson. I feel so sad about it. I am tempted to take him today and drive to the country alone later. I probably won’t.
I slept a lot yesterday as I hadn’t slept the night before.
Last night our friends came over – the new couple. I don’t know why but I think my male friend is not too happy. Of course it could be because it’s nighttime and he’s tired. I don’t know. I think he jumped from the fire into the frying pan. I would so love to talk to him and ask him how he is. I told my hubby that he could ask him. I must remind him when he goes to play golf on Thursday.
So this morning I will get ready and go to the country.
Have a great weekend.

Glad your colonoscopy went okay! I dread the day I have to do that myself! Glad also to read that you’ve broken the barrier with your friend who is with your other friend.

Your friend might have started the relationship too fast and doesn’t know how to slow it down or to get out of it.

Hi Ginger!!! I’m glad the colonoscopy went well, I was out like a light with mine. ANd ten it took 4 hours to shake the drugs. I was STONED. Apparently it was funny. I love that you get to spend time with your grandson, you are a fabulous Bubby!

I’m glad it went okay! I hope you can get to see your grandson soon. It sounds like you’re going through withdrawal. *SMILES*

I’m so glad your colonoscopy went well. The silver lining about the 5 polyps is that you went in, had the colonoscopy and had them removed. When the test results come back, you’ll go from there. đŸ™‚ hugs,

Still haven’t gotten mine yet, I am 5 years late already and still no health insurance so probably won’t be getting one until I get Medicare unless things change. Glad it went well.

I’ve had several. The worst part is drinking the drano the day before to cleanse the, uh, system. In 2007 (I think), a large polyp was found and excised. The medico seemed concerned. In 2011 I went in for my last colonoscopy and an endoscopy. The lower region is just fine. The endoscopy had questionable results and the gastro wrote a script – of course. I didn’t take the med. Instead, I did a selfstudy of what not to eat and now the upper region is just fine too. Five is a lot. My best wishes to you.

I’m glad it went well. Sheesh, I have so much catching up to do! I feel horrible for absent for so long. I swear summer flew by, it just seems like you went home from Florida.

Glad the procedure went well. You way better than my husband.
