TWO THIS WEEK
We have two funerals to go to. The first is today. A very old friend lost her husband yesterday. I am so glad I went to visit last week! I almost went yesterday but I guess it’s good I didn’t. We are not close but we have known each other forever. I have recently seen her more often in Florida. Florida is a great meeting place. Friends come from near and far and we are reunited. People who use to live in Montreal and now live in Toronto are reunited in Florida.
The other funeral is a nephew from our friends. The man was on a cruise and had an aneurism!!!! So sad! He was in his early 60’s. The funeral is Monday so I will have to cancel my Canasta game.
Otherwise everything is fine. Yesterday I went to help my friend get rid of junk. We may not have thrown out a lot but we did get one of her rooms organized. Then we went for lunch to Pizza Hut. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant so we left. I find that most Pizza Hut’s have LOUSY service!!!!! I wrote them an email but haven’t heard yet.
I went to visit a friend. She was suppose to show me how to copy a painting but her cousin showed up so we talked instead. I didn’t stay too long as we sat on her balcony and it was HOT and HUMID!!!!!!!!!
This afternoon I am picking up my grandson at four. Not sure what we will do after.
I think I will go swimming early. It’s only 7:30 but I think the pool opens at seven. Guess I better check it out.

sorry about the bad news; Pizza hut mainly has take out service so yeah the service in the place is horrible but they should still offer you something for your trouble.

so sorry about the funerals. 🙁 I guess I almost never eat in at Pizza Hut, except when we lived in Morris, my cousin (the girl we lived with for awhile) worked in a Pizza Hut, we ate there a lot.

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your friends. I’m also glad you visited your friend from the other day before her husband passed. I feel sure your visit gave her much comfort, and that your presence at the funeral will be that much more appreciated. You’re a very, very thoughtful person, and I feel honored to know you. You are a wonderful example of how to do the right thing–in spite of how we may feel about it–because you’re never wrong when you do the right thing.

I’m sorry for the losses of your friends. Maybe you should come to England, I’ve never had bad service in a pizza hut! One time there was only one server on (because they’d been let down by other staff members) and he was very stressed but his customer service didn’t suffer at all for it and he got a really good tip from me. X

There are some places that get known for poor service. I don’t really care for pizza so when I go to a place that makes pizza it is one where I live that is privately owned, the owner also takes orders, waits tables, cooks, the whole ball of wax. I either get the stuffed pasta or the gluten free mini pizza.

Sorry about the funerals you have to attend. I don’t get to catch up as often as I’d like too either.
