Not true. I love much of my life that occurred in the past. My depression was more based in the present than it was in the past. Anxiety though is often based from things that are going to occur in the future, but You could say the same thing about excitement. People get excited about the future.

Depression is an illness, not a state of mind. Not real depression anyway.

True.

I feel like people who are depressed have a clinical illness and anxiety too is a clinical disease, it is not that easily defined. Everybody has their ups and downs but true depression and anxiety are not so easy to treat without medication. Just my take on it, I could be wrong.

nope don’t buy it. too simplistic.

Could be true at times, but sometimes there is way too much stuff going on in the present to be at peace.

I think this is a good starting point to help understand the way we deal with our thoughts 🙂 Sometimes, the first step involves getting down to the simple basics 🙂

My life has ups and downs everyday and not having anything to do with mood or depression. I have learned to take life one day at a time and not worry about what might have been or what will be. I love life and I love my family, I feel Blessed. Love,

Wow, that’s awfully true! Depression is a state of mind – a mindset that is weakening the body – psycho-somatic. In the end it is all in the mind and how we deal with the past, the present and the future.
