A WONDERFUL AFTERNOON

 Since my daughter is in from out of town my two sons came for lunch. Of course my grandchildren were here too.
I served a big lunch. I just put a ton of stuff on the table and everyone helped themselves. We cleaned up and then two of my grandchildren painted with me. We had so much fun!!!!!!!!! One is so inhibited. She got nervous because there was paint on her gloves she was wearing. She was afraid to mix the colours together etc. My grandson on the other hand is very free and creative. He doesn’t worry about anything – just like me. At the end we put a large painting on the floor and squirted paint all over it. Now there’s paint on the floor. My cleaning lady will have a job on Monday. So what? WE HAD FUN! Actually I put a linoleum over the tiles so there is no problem with paint on the floor.
I had a quick nap when they left. I made an easy supper – just an omelette for each of us. I cleaned up – now having a cup of coffee with some cookies.
Must go and clean up as much as I can in my art room. It was all well worth it.

Tomorrow we have a funeral in the afternoon. Plan to exercise with the WII in the morning.
It’s been raining all day – tomorrow who knows.
