YOU JUST NEVER KNOW(6964 entries)

 WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT THE DAY WILL BRING! This morning I had so many plans but everything or almost everything went down the drain. I did manage to go swimming. I did get a lot of food for the house and that was the end of my planned day. My son called to tell me that his father-in-law was rushed into the hospital. He asked if I could babysit and of course I said sure. I went home quickly to have lunch and unpack the perishables. I had a quick nap which I shouldn’t have had because the traffic was bad and I never did get to pick up my grandchildren. My son did. I had to satop at my other son to pick up the keys to this house etc. SAnyhow I arrived just as they were ready to leave for my grandson’s baseball game. I went with my son. He stayed awhile and then went back to the hospital. He called awhile ago to tell me they would be doing some sort of procedure. His FIL has not been looking good for quite awhile. Anyhow I brought my grandchildren home, they took showers, had a snack and then right to bed. I was happy that they fell asleep so easily.
So now I’m sitting here biding my time. I have no idea when they will be home. I might have to nap on the couch.
Other plans I had for today was:

paint
start some type of budget keeping
go out for supper with friends
make dates with some friends.

I won’t plan anything now as I want to be available for my son and DIL.
So that’s it in a nutshell.
