THE LIBRARY

This afternoon I had nothing planned so I walked over to the library. It’s only five to ten minutes away. It is open every day from ten to ten. I must have been there two to three hours. I just love the place!!!!!!!!!! I finished reading the second book in THE HUNGER GAMES. I will start the third soon. I wandered through the aisles and brought home about 18 books. We’re allowed thirty!!!!!!!! Lucky I had my shopping cart with me.
I took out some books about the Holocaust and different "holocausts" that I think I should know about it. It’s not enough to just remember and complain about the Jewish holocaust. I realize I should know more about other groups that suffered.

So now I guess I have to make supper. I will be thrilled when Passover is over tomorrow night. We will surely go out for supper. I can’t wait! I am so tired of preparing three meals a day!

Yes, each time I go into the library I kick myself for not going more often. They are such wonderful places! I wonder if you’ll read about the Armenian genocide in your ‘holocaust’ readings. That’s a discussion that causes a lot of tension in Turkey.

I love history and need to start learning about it again!

I love visiting the library, too. I’m also a ‘wanderer’ and love that they have started putting put displays of random books. I’ve read things I never would have known about otherwise.

I miss having the library so close. I use to walk over to it after school in middle school since it was right across the street. I got to know the librarians and it was great they would know what kinda of book I was seeking even if I didnt know the name of it. oh the memories.
