IT’S ENOUGH!

We just came back from playing bridge and I told most of the group that I will not play anymore once we’re home. There is one man who is very OBNOXIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! He use to be my best friend’s hubby. Anyhow he is very nasty and ill tempered when I play with him. He is a pretty good player. I’m not! He sees the mistakes I make. What can I say! I am not half as good as he is. Also when I play with him I am too nervous to think. So I am determined NOT to play with him anymore. I don’t care what the group does. I have finally had enough. We have not seen him socially all winter so now our friendship will be over. No great loss! Bridge is a difficult game. You have to concentrate. Sometimes I can and sometimes I can’t! Others who play just as well as this man just accept but he can’t so that’s it!!!!!!!! Two other couples left because of him. We should have thrown HIM out years ago. I would rather play almost any other game. If hubby still wants to play bridge there are others he can play with.
So today I went swimming in the morning. After I was suppose to play MAH JONGG but there weren’t enough players. Instead I went to do some messages and shopping.
Tomorrow I will start packing. I have made a decision. I will leave here on Monday. I will drive home slowly and enjoy the peace and quiet. I have decided to visit my friend in Philadelphia on Friday night. I will sleep over and go to Trader Joes!!!!!!!! Is there anything special I should look for?
Hubby will stay here until Friday. My son is coming on Wednesday so he’ll only be alone one day.
I am still aggravated. This man use to make my friend cry. He has a BIG LOUD mouth!!!!!!!!!! I will not miss him at all. He always has to be right. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Tomorrow I am going to the bead store to complete my weaving project. If there is time I will go to the pool in the afternoon.
Take care. Be aware.

It’s not good to have a mentality like that and I don’t like loud people like that either. And it’s not good that he made your friend cry. I like the take care be aware.

I hope you get over this person’s aggravation by tomorrow. Yes, grand kids are very fortunate to be around grand parents. It is very good for their emotional development. And vice versa. -GlobalNomad

That guy is a jerk to treat you that way. He needs a few prayers thrown his way.

People like him ruin things for everyone! I am glad you won’t be spending time with him anymore! hugs, Nicky

There are times some things need to end. It is hard when it is a friendship that has drastically changed.

What an unpleasant man! Good to be away from that. I don’t understand why some people make a pleasurable time (bridge game) into an overly serious, stressful time. Hopefully someday someone will put him in his place! Trader Joes is a great place to spend some time to browse, explore, and enjoy all the wonderful things that are available. Enjoy!!
