CHOICES AND MORE-(6823 entries)

We are getting ready to go to a show tonight. It’s called MY SON THE WAITER. I have no idea what it’s about but it must be a comedy act. That’s usually what I pick because my hubby doesn’t like singers most of the time.
the weather here has been sunny, hot and humid. I can certainly do without the humidity.
This morning I went to work on my stained glass. In three hours I had about three pieces ready. It takes me so long and never comes out perfect. I am thinking I should take the beginner’s class again as I must have forgotten a lot. I am determined to keep working on it and finishing it by the end of the month. I think the next steps will much easier. My friend is doing an amazing piece – all small, tiny pieces and they are perfect!!!!!!!!! Maybe I can get home to show me what I am doing wrong next time.
This afternoon we had lunch. That’s when Hubby brought up the idea that maybe we should come back here in the summer. Say what???????????????? He knows I don’t like to go back and forth to the trailer. He wants to come here to play golf. I asked him why he can’t play at home. I said if I came and it’s a big IF I would want to bring one of my grandchildren and maybe take them to Disney. How do I choose which one? I certainly couldn’t take three although I could take two! He didn’t care for the idea at all! He also wouldn’t want to come here alone. We were talking about friends to travel with and we just don’t have another couple. We talked about going on a cruise. I told him maybe I would just like a new computer. However if my great nephew has his Bar MITZVAH in israel then I would certainly want to go to that. I must ask my niece if they are still planning to go. I don’t think they could afford to take five to Israel. So right now things are up in the air. I am very content staying put here and then at home so we will see.
Tomorrow we are going to a friend’s for brunch! About twenty people will be there. I am sure I won’t know most of them. It gets out of hand here because everyone thinks they need to invite everyone. I tell them we should stop and only invite a small, intimate group but everyone is afraid of insulting someone.
So I better go get dressed. Have a pleasant evening.
