MIXED FEELINGS

My daughter leaves tomorrow afternoon. In a way I am happy. In a way I am VERY SAD! I had such a good time with her especially tonight. We went to TARGET at nine o’clock. I bought some books, makeup and scarves – stuff I never normally buy. I bought some skin cleanser which I will try to use. I bought some eye makeup which I never use. She told me what to buy. I don’t really like the colours so maybe I will try to buy other colours. She tried to put mascara on but I cannot keep my eyes still. It was fun. Now she is packing! She likes to fit everything into a carry on. Good luck!!!!!! She bought a lot of clothes.
I am "happy" she’s leaving so I can get back to my normal routine. I want to continue with my hobbies especially my scrapbook for my son and his wife. She is living in my hobby room. If not I would be happy if she just stayed. It is fun to have another "woman" in the house. I like having someone to talk to and shop with.
She’s leaving tomorrow around 12. After we drop her off I will come home to wash her linen and towels. Then I will slowly reorganize my craft room. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had a delicious supper tonight. Just the three of us! I made mayonnaise chicken and french fries. Also some chicken soup. For dessert hubby served us spumoni ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!
This afternoon I went to the pool so my friend could fix my knitting. She has so much patience. I wonder when she’ll start to avoid me or coming to the pool. LOL!
I had a long nap. Maybe that’s why I am not tired at one o’clock!
So I should go to bed. Hope all is well at your home. What are your plans for New Years? We are going out with three other couples. First supper and then drinks at a friends.
