BUCKET LIST

I am going to write a bucket list here but often I am just happy to be well and alive.

1. visit Australia, Europe etc.

2. take each of my grandchildren on vacation

3. Have an art show and sell some paintings

4. Save up a bunch of money and have no bills

5. take a trip with a motorhome

6. see my son married

7. go to Israel with my grandchildren for their Bar Mitzvah

It’s interesting that there is not really a lot that I want to do.
I’m up in the middle of the night again.
I worked on my needlepoint last time I was up. It’s going very well.
Tomorrow I will google some recipes for diabetic cookies. I usually don’t like to use substitute sugar. I made the cookies today very small so I figure if people have one it’s not too bad. I guess I’ll make some of each.
Tomorrow I have some messages to do.
1. return to KMART
2. Mail a calendar to my DIL
3. look for toys for my grandchildren and great nieces
4. go to Bank of America – take out money and transfer it to RBC
5. get needles for my needlepoint
6. buy frames for pictures from my son’s wedding
7. try to make plans to go out for supper
8. etc. etc.
9. buy Hanukah cards

My daughter and her boyfriend are coming to Florida on December 17. He is leaving on the 26th and her on the 29th. It will be nice to have them here.
I am thinking about getting one of my grandsons an e reader. I have to see if they have one for children. Then I have to make a big decision whether they would appreciate it or not. I always feel that I have to buy both the same. His mother told me that he is enjoying reading. I can’t really believe it so thought an e reader would be more fun.
Stupidly I wrote my ex DIL to ask her what to get my grandson. Why do I keep writing her after she hurt my son and wants nothing to do with me? My grandson is living with her this week.
So I’m going to surf for some recipes.
Bye.
Have a good night.
Hope you were able to sleep.
Oh to have a baby now when I’m up anyways. Life is not fair.
Still have a LOOOONG space if I don’t delete it.

I like reading these entries, which encourage me that it is possible to be balanced and happy even while continuing to learn and improve. Thank you for this, especially the part about trying to communicate normally with the ex-DIL unable to have normal communication. That helps me to read so I will be gentle with myself as I hope you are!
