DAY THREE

So tonight I am at exit 97 in North Carolina. I was so excited that I would be stopping here for the night. There is a wonderful store called JJ. Anyhow I usually buy a few dolls but for whatever reason I could not find a doll that interested me so I bought none. I did buy some other things but nothing exciting. I think I am just "bored" with the trip as I have done it so many times.
I spoke to my hubby this morning. His brother is NOT doing well so he plans to fly back to Toronto once I get there. It certainly put a damper on my trip and I tried to drive further yesterday. Tomorrow I am going to encourage him to fly north before I come. That is unless he wants me to come with. It is so sad!!!!!!
I ended up at a Hobby Lobby at one of my stops yesterday. It was fun. There were so many other stores but since I was trying to drive as much as I could I just went to the Hobby store. I did go into Dress Barn but everything was for winter so turned around and walked out.
Not sure how far I’ll get tomorrow – maybe somewhere in Florida. If my hubby doesn’t wait for me then I will take my time. Maybe I’ll stop in Daytona Beach.
I don’t mind going north with him but if he doesn’t want me to come I hope he leaves tomorrow.
So last night I slept about 12 hours off and on. Tonight I can’t sleep. So annoying! I think the bed is too hard. Guess I better try again.

Sorry to hear about your husband’s brother – very sad!

RYN: Yes, I write in Word. For NaNoWriMo, you write your story anywhere you want and with any word processing program. You update your wrd count by going to the Nano website and typing in your word count (Word gives you this info and calculates it for you) but you can also copy/paste your words into Nanos word calcuator. At the end of November, you have to copy/paste your entire document into theword calculator and it will confurm your totalword count. No one ever sees the words you write, though. Once the number is calculated, the words disappear on the Nano calculator.

Your shopping reminds me so much of my mother’s travels. She goes to her family home in Missouri a few times a year and EVERY trip she stops at ALL the Wal-Marts on the way up and all the Dollar Trees on the way back. LOL!
