HOT AND HUMID

Yesterday we drove to Brampton, Ontario for my nephew’s wedding. Actually the wedding is today but we were invited for a barbecue yesterday afternoon. It was held at the bride’s home. It was filled corner to corner with antiques and books!!!!!!!! I don’t think I ever saw a house so unique! The hubby gave me a guided tour. It was fascinating. I think the wife has more books then I have!!!!!!! She has marked the books she read or didn’t read with a little sticker. (He didn’t know) That would be a good idea for me. Most of the rooms were small. I don’t think they would be so crowded but they must have put stuff away because we were coming. They even had a swimming pool. It was so HOT and humid!!!!!!!!!! NO AIR-CONDITIONING! They did have fans throughout the house. They prepared a ton of food. I am sure that’s how a lot of people prepare for Christmas.
My sister is a nervous wreck – a ball of energy that NEVER sits still. She is skin and bones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was glad when it was time to leave. My watch said 4:30 but it was actually 7 thank goodness.
Not sure what we will do this morning. The wedding is going to be held across the street in a museum at four so we have most of the day free. I am trying to decide if I will wear my red dress or my black pants and blouse.
I hope my hubby and son will get up soon as I want to go for breakfast.
