FRUSTRATED

I am so frustrated, disappointed and upset. Last night I couldn’t fall asleep as I was nervous about my hubby finding out how much I spent on the tickets for LION KING! I got out of bed and met my son online. I called him and he told me my grandson has a baseball game at the same time and he probably should or would want to go to. SHIT! What the hell do I do with the tickets? Anyhow he said he would help me get rid of them but so far I still have them. He’s at work today so probably nothing will happen. I’ll wait awhile and then call the company and see if they’ll take them back.
Yesterday I went shopping with my cousin. We went to a large mall. I found a dress, shoes and palazzio pants. I’m all set to go. I need to get the stuff altered so hopefully I can find someone to do it at the beginning of the week. The dress is the new colour – purple? I need to get a bra and maybe a pretty top which I will wear to my nephew’s wedding in Toronto next weekend.
I am trying to plan out my day. I have some messages to do and I also want to go visit a friend in the hospital. I want to paint. I don’t know what to do first. I guess I’ll stick around and wait for my son to call me back. I am so sorry I rushed to buy the tickets.
So I better get going and decide on my day.

Good luck in returning the tickets. ryn-I think my favorite author is Louise Penny for her Armand Gamache mystery series – set in Quebec, by the way. I also like Alexander McCall Smith for his many series, including The #1 Ladies Detective Agency. I’m looking for ward to the publication of the latest Julie Hyzy White House mystery. So many books, so little time! That is just fiction. I think for non-fiction it would be Mitch Albom. Who is your favorite author?

Hope you can sell your tickets, if they don’t take them back try putting them on craigslist.

Personally, I think that if a child’s grandma buys tickets to treat the child to something wonderful like The Lion King, the parents should say “oh thank you! He will LOVE going with you!” and there should be no question what the child is going to do that day. Perhaps you do so much for your loved ones that they have lost the gift of APPRECIATION for all of it! hugs, Nicky
