ANOTHER WONDERFUL DAY

This morning hubby woke me around seven. I got ready quickly and walked over to the dermatologist. I was so surprised that by the time I got there there was about ten people in line before me. This doctor does not take appointments so first come first serve. I had to wait about two hours. I had a good nap. Anyways she said I was fine. I have some psoriasis on my head so she prescribed some shampoo and some type of cream.
After that I walked over to the mall. I went to get my haircut. She was busy so I went for lunch. I met a friend so she sat with me for awhile. Then I had my hair cut. I walked over to the wonderful library. I took out a bunch of books. I don’t know why but the librarian was very helpful. Then I walked home. I had a snack and a nap.
When I woke up I packed for Toronto. I’m all set to go in the morning.
At night we went to friends for lunch. We met a new couple who were very friendly. We played SEQUENCE. I plan to invite them all for supper real soon. I will make an old fashioned chicken soup and a roast chicken etc.  One of the men suggested using two chickens to make the soup. He said you make the soup like you always do. Then you take out everything. Then you add another chicken and cook again. What do you think? Maybe the soup would be very rich?????? too rich?WE got home about 11. I continued unpacking my craft stuff. I am sure by the beginning of next week I’ll be finished. I can’t wait to start painting and scrapbooking again.
So I’ll try to get more sleep. We are leaving here about 8:30. My cousin finally decided to come. I hope she doesn’t expect conversation on the drive. I’ll be sleeping as usual I’m sure.  I’m taking my computer so more later.
Oh, I wrote a speech to make at my sister’s party. I think it will go over very well. Maybe I’ll include it in one of my entries.

that does seem a strange way to cook chicken soup but i suppose it depends how many you are cooking for. Glad you had a good day. hugs P

One chicken is enough I would say. Right now I’m feeling like a nap but it is still too early on this Sunday morning. Enjoy a wonderful trip!

Num! I LOVE homemade chicken noodle soup!

I think one chicken is plenty rich, unless you are using a huge pot – like for a banquet. I made a gallon pot a few days ago and only used about 8 chicken wings. With celery, carrots and onions and plenty of paprika it was delicious. I made cream of wheat dumplings and my husband was very happy with that.
