MY WEEKEND

We went to the country on Friday. As usual I was NOT happy to be going. I think it is about control. I feel that I don’t have control of my life. Of course I do but I don’t feel like I do. I don’t know why but just thinking about going makes me depressed. Anyhow we got there Friday afternoon. I unpacked and then had a nap. Hubby went into town to get what we needed. About five a couple came for supper. The hubby did not want to be in town for the U2 concert. They live quite close by and he thought there would be a lot of noise, traffic etc. Just to tell you that apparently the concert went off without a hitch. People who lived in apartments could hear the music and some cases see the screen etc.
Anyhow hubby made a barbecue – steaks, lamb chops and veal chops. I had the lamb of course and they were delicious.
Saturday morning friends stopped by to ask me if I wanted to go to town. I went with them and they were so NICE! They stopped wherever I needed to and helped me shop. I bought a new comforter for my bed here. Tomorrow my cleaning lady will put it on the bed and I’ll decide if I want to keep it or not. We came home about 4. We sat around and then went out for supper with two couples. A GOOD DAY!
Sunday was a very lazy day. I slept most of the day. Hubby says it’s because of the medication I’m on. I don’t know but I wasn’t motivated to do anything at all.
We came home around four. I unpacked, did a washing and then of course sat on the lazy boy chair and promptly fell asleep.
About seven we went out for supper. I came home and did some more organizing in my art room. I wish I was finished already. Tomorrow my cleaning lady will be here so I will do my best to finish unpacking. I have my dolls to place but no where to put them. OY!
We’re waiting for the handyman to come because I need more shelves. Right now he’s painting my son’s house. He is planning to move as soon as his house sells. Then I hope he will come to us.
Tomorrow morning the man is coming to show us what he has available for blinds. My son is also coming to visit so it will be a busy day.
Better get back to bed.

I still have a huge space after my entries. WHY??????
