OUR TRIP TO OTTAWA

Yesterday hubby and I drove to Ottawa to visit our very sick friend. It is about a two hour ride. On the way there and back I slept most of the way. I have known them for over forty years! In fact we fixed them up. My girlfriend was so happy for us to be there. She has two daughters. One is in Ottawa and the other is in Europe. The one in Europe will be moving to Russia at the end of the month. I know it will be very difficult for her when her daughter leaves. Her hubby is not always with it. I don’t envy her at all! The plans are to make her hubby strong enough and then they will probably have to amputate one of his legs and maybe the other too. He has VPD. So sad!!!!! Once her daughter leaves she will have very little support. Her daughter is trying to line up some friends to help her. I will go as often as I can.
Our condo is starting to take shape. I still have boxes to unpack. I need a place to put my dolls. I have put some around the house but need room for a lot more. I left about twenty or more boxes of books in the storage room. I need to have more shelves built in the living/dining room. Right now our handy man is painting my son’s house as he is planning to sell and move to be closer to his brother.
Not too many plans for tomorrow. I need to return something to WINNERS and then buy more baskets at the Dollar store. I also want to call someone to come see my Royal Daulton Figurines. I have to find out if they are worth anything and then I would like to sell them.
