TAKING TURNS

Hubby and I have been home all day. It is almost 5:30. We have been taking turns unpacking and sleeping. I think I had two naps already. He is sleeping now on one of our lazy boy chairs. I have been unpacking my books and more books and then another box of books. I hope I don’t have anymore in the storage room. So far I have not had to double up on my books but I’m sure I will. I feel sorry for the person who will have to clean up this apartment when we die. They will surely curse us out. LOL!!!!!! There is still a lot to do but my goal is to finish the boxes in the living/dining room by Monday. I am not sure why I want my cleaning lady to see that I can do without her. How stupid can I get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Monday morning the house needs a good cleaning. Then hopefully she’ll come back on Tuesday to help me organize our huge storage room. I know she wanted to stay later last week but I had had enough. She wanted to put away my Faberge eggs. She thought we could put them on the book shelves. She doesn’t realize that my eggs have no home yet!!!!!!! I’m sure she’ll be surprised when she sees how much we have done.
Tomorrow is Father’s Day. I have two wonderful cards for my hubby. We are going out for supper with our sons and our grandchildren. Her parents are coming too. They usually sit us with her parents. I would like to sit with my son or my grandchildren. I have nothing against her parents but I rather not sit with them every time. For sure I will not say anything. I would like to but I don’t want to make a fuss. I never do. I always accept and stay quiet. Of course sometimes I should but not all the time. I don’t like confrontation. I guess it comes from my childhood when I was afraid of my Mother.
Anyhow I am almost finished my boxes in the living room. Of course there is a lot more organizing and stuff to be done but once I finish with the living room I will be happy and relieved.
Time for bed.
