IT’S OVER

I can’t believe it! It’s nine thirty and we are finally all moved in. The truck came about nine thirty so it took four men twelve hours to load and unload the truck! When the truck came this morning I saw the beginning of the truck and it took about twenty minutes until I saw the end. The truck was HUGE!!!!!! Of course we needed the big truck! It was difficult to find where to put all the boxes. I wanted most to go into our storage room but after the men struggled for a few hours I told them to just take the rest up stairs. I must have 100 or more boxes sitting in my living-dining room. I have work to do. LOL!!!
It’s wonderful here. I already feel at home. My kitchen is pretty much set up but I know there are other boxes marked kitchen. I guess everyday I’ll do as much as I can. Tomorrow I will unpack and in the afternoon I’ll go check the old house.
I know we will be happy here.
I am still upset about my grandchildren. I must get over it!!!!!! Once I start driving I’ll try to take them again. It’s not long now. If they decided they don’t want me to pick them up I’ll just have to accept it. I always told my daughter that there will come a time when they aren’t so interested in their grandparents. Maybe the time has arrived.
So I am sitting at our new kitchen table – oval glass top. Our kitchen is a rust and white colour. It is divided into two sections – one has the appliances and the other side is our dining area. Time for bed.
