MOVING DAY

( Now I have a large space at the beginning and end of each entry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

MOVING DAY IS GETTING CLOSER.

TODAY IS A BIG DAY!

TODAY I WANT TO THROW OUT EVERYTHING WE DON’T WANT TO MOVE.

I HAVE SO MANY BOOKCASES.

I HAVE SO MANY SHELVES.

I HAVE A DESK.

I hope it doesn’t rain but regardless I will put everything outside. I hope people will pass by and take some stuff. If not I will call the city hall and they’ll pick everything up.

So it’s getting closer. I can’t wait.
If all goes well we’ll go to the country on the weekend and veg out. We’ll need it.
Any tips for the last days?

Hubby and I moved here over thirty years ago and I don’t remember anything about that move! It’s so strange. All I do remember is standing at the sink talking to my best friend. I told her that I will always keep my pots and pans spic and span. Of course it never happened.

So time for breakfast and then packing.

hopefully, this move will go well and you won’t be moving again. only advice i have is to not get overwhelmed. it will all fall into place one piece at a time. take care,

Moving is not an easy task for sure. I’m ready to stay put for 30 years! Good luck with everything and yes, take the weekend and rest.

Moving can be stressful and exciting at the same time I think!

I don’t envy you. I’ve moved a lot and it is always hard, no matter how you have prepared. Take it easy and don’t stress out about it. It will all work out!

the best way to declutter is to pretend to move… every few years – you do cut back on what’s not necessary!

Daggone it, I could really use that book case and desk for my spare room:) Be safe!

Register with Freecycle – there are tons of people to take your stuff if you just list it.

Moving is hard, best of luck that it goes well!

good luck with it all. I presume you are lucky enough to have removal men to do the lifting and carrying. The fun part will be unpacking it all again finding a new place for things. hugs P
