MEMORY NIGHT

 

 

Our memory night was a huge success. We didn’t talk too much about living in this house but the children talked a lot about OLD times. They looked through boxes of pictures and stuff that I had kept for them all these years. I had lots of pictures on the dining room table under plastic. I sang them a song I wrote especially for them. We played the trivia game that is about our family. We added a few new questions and one of my sons may start a trivia box for his family.
We included my son’s girlfriend by looking at her pictures. Luckily I asked her to bring some childhood pictures. Actually she went to the same high school as my son just on different campuses. My living dining room is a total mess. So what? I will clean up when I have time.
Tomorrow we go to Ottawa. We will probably just stay for the day but I will take clothes for one night. I am not planning to stay unless they ask.
Today was hectic. We had an unveiling in the morning. Brunch followed. Then we showed hubby’s sister our new condo. After we dropped her off we met my daughter there and showed her the condo. Then she left for Toronto. We came home for a nap – at least I had a nap.
We went out for supper with hubby’s sister. Now I am going to relax and go to bed early. I am trying to get in touch with our TV service as I am getting nothing.
My daughter wants to bring her boyfriend to meet us on Father’s Day. It must be serious………………
My TV is finally working.
