GETTING THINGS DONE
I started to cook for Passover this morning. I am making my chicken soup. YUMMY!!!!!!!!! The big problem is I can’t find my second Passover soup pot. Patiently (ha?) I am waiting for my cleaning lady to come because she will be able to find it. I will let it cook most of the day and then my cleaning lady will separate it into containers and I will freeze it for the holidays.
We are waiting for the repairman to call. When he does we will go over to the new condo to discuss what repairs have to be done. I have finally decided NOT to spend too much and do what we really have to. My hubby has been very understanding. He realized that I would have liked to change the whole floor in the living dining room but it would have cost thousands. It’s just NOT worth it!
My cleaning lady will come with us. She will get to see the condo and will also drive my car over. We will leave it there so we will have room in th garage for all the boxes.
Yesterday the interior decorator helped me choose colours for the room – mostly off white. She has a great idea for my craft room. I will put up brackets and shelves. On the shelves I will use all kinds of baskets to store my stuff. I like the idea!!!!!!!!! In the kitchen we will buy a round table. I never even thought of it. She said we have to be careful because as we age we bump into things. We are certainly aging.
Tomorrow is my appointment with the psychologist. I can’t wait. I don’t know how she can help but I am anxious to talk to her. Cleaning lady arrived.
She is still looking for the pot. She says that we threw out one because it was leaking????? I don’t remember but I will have to trust her. I have all the chicken in one pot but I want it in two.
Mmmm, love homemade chicken soup! Maybe you’ll have to buy another pot? I always use my crockpot for making soups.

I like the idea of the shelves and brackets and baskets. It’s so hard to keep craft stuff organized.

Your cleaning lady sure is a gem! She’s like a personal assistant! I’m sure it must be difficult to decide what’s ‘worth’ repairing and what’s not. Costs sure can add up quickly, eh? I’ll bet it’s fun making choices and planning the look of your place too though! 🙂
