It’s not hard after you know how to do it! 🙂 1. Copy the embed code from youtube (click on the ’embed’ button below the video 2. In your own diary, in the editing toolbar, click on ‘source’. This allows you to paste in code. 3. Paste the embed code. 4. Click on source again so you are back in normal mode. You won’t see the video though, till you save it.

Cont… A tip: If you want to embed video in an entry that has other text you’ve written, just type all your text, then type your name (or something else unique) where you want the video. Go into source code, do a search for your name (Ctrl+f to search). When you find it, just replace it with the embed code.

Another tip: YouTube has new embed codes that I can never seem to get to work on OD. If you look closely on the YouTube site you will see something that says “USE OLD EMBED CODE.” When I click that, the old, long embed code pops up and that one always works! Good luck!
