THEY’RE GONE

This morning my son and daughter left for home. My son was happy to start on his drive home but my daughter could have stayed longer!!!! She is NOT anxious at all to grow up. I think should like to live here with us forever.

Anyhow we didn’t get much sleep. I went to bed about 11 and couldn’t fall asleep. We were up around five to take my daughter to the airport. I thought I would go back to sleep but my son told us he was planning to leave. So I helped him take stuff downstairs and pack his car. He took home a lot of stuff for my daughter! She probably won’t hurry to Montreal to pick her stuff up. Maybe my son will drive it there one day. WHATEVER! I have to remember they are 30 and 40 so old enough to make their own decisions.
We had a wonderful visit! They are old enough to take on some responsibility. However by last night I was exhausted and ready for them to leave. Too much running around with my daughter and too many meals to prepare. Yesterday afternoon I made muffins and two batches of cookies. Then I had to make supper.
We started a new puzzle last night.
This morning I already have my second washing in. When I finish this entry I have to reorganize the storage room and my craft room.
In the afternoon I’ll go out as my daughter left her keys here!!!!!!!! The STUPID people at the airport told her if we brought the keys she would have to go through security again. I’m sure they could have found an easier way! Anyhow I will go mail the keys today. Once I’m out I have some stuff to return to BEST BUY and WALMART.
SO THAT’S IT. Better go work in the storage room and my craft room. Maybe I’ll have time for a nap. I’m also not sure if I’ll do the Wii. It all depends how long everything else takes. I should probably exercise first BUT I want to clean up and get this place back to normal.

I think daughters like to stay with their family. I tend to see that more often than guys.

sounds as if you’ve gotten enough exercise without the Wii!! It took me a few years to clear things out of my parents apartment when I moved out at age 20. Then later, many years later, I moved back as they were getting ready to go to California. Now I have some of their things here… and a whole apartment of their stuff in CA.
