HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Today is our 47th wedding anniversary. Where did the years go? How did we stay married so long? Today some marriages can’t last 47 months. Anyhow we have no special plans for today. For supper we will have appetizers and if I get potatoes I will make french fries. We are planning to go for supper on Friday night if the restaurant is open. We will go with hubby’s sister and niece.
My daughter is arriving at midnight so I will need a long nap today. I’m up at five thirty but will try to go back to bed again soon. My leg is hurting – probably from the Wii. I didn’t do it yesterday but will do it today. I will go check if the indoor  pool has warmed up because that would be the best place for me to exercise.
I bought the machine to make cupcakes. They came out very good and it was easy. I must try to find a very healthy recipe. The one I used was a sugar free brownie mix, I never knew they had sugar free mixes, The trouble with them is they give me diarrhea. Also I’m noshing on sugar free cookies!
Just heard the delivery boy with the newspaper. Not going to get it yet!
The woman from the clubhouse called me yesterday. I hope she will agree to display two of my paintings. She has done a great job with so many other paintings from senior artists.
They had a party here the other day for people over 90. There were over 200. Can you believe??? I think there was a woman who was 106!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My nephew got engaged. This is his third time. I almost didn’t wish my sister Congratulations. They are already living together. What do they need to get engaged for???????? The last time he got married I missed it as I was here in Florida. If he does get married when I’m here I will have to go home as my sister was upset. I would have gone home but that was the winter we arrived here late. Hubby had been through radiation in the Fall and we only got to Florida at the end of January. Anyhow I will decide when the time comes. I don’t think hubby would want to travel back.
I am still enjoying my Hanukah bush. I have presents ready for my daughter.
I am looking forward to starting my art courses and drumming course at the beginning of January.
Yesterday I spent the morning with my friend from Montreal who is here for three weeks. I went to look for sweat pants for my grandson. I found one pair at Sears. I guess I’ll have to go back. I didn’t buy anything else!!!!!! We went for lunch at Rotelli. Then we went to the pool. I was surprised that only a few people were there. There were a lot of visitors. I worked on my needlepoint for awhile but got distracted by all the talking. It was also COLD!!!! While we were shopping it felt hot and was sunny. I’ll probably go back this afternoon but will take my sweater – maybe my snowsuit!!!!
I finished reading LONG LOST by Coben. It was a weird, exciting book. It talked about terrorism. Some terrorists were using frozen embryo to create more terrorists. They embryo would be implanted in a  woman who was sympathetic to the terrorist cause. She would give birth and bring the child up as a terrorist!!!!! OY!!!!!!!!
On that note I’m crawling back into bed.
Oh, yes we are still working on our 2000 piece puzzle. Hubby is enjoying it but I think 2000 is way too many……..too many pieces to look through to find what might go together. Anyhow slowly but surely we are getting it done.
