A NAP AND A DREAM?????

I had a nap. It’s a good thing as I was tired. I still have to serve and entertain my guests. We’re only 8 – family and close friends so not really a big deal but I went all out. I’m worried that my turkey will not be ready. I put it in at two at 325 like the book said. I stuck in the thermometer and it isn’t 165 yet. OY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I uncovered it at five and I’ve been basting it. I still have to take a shower and get dressed – nothing fancy as I will be working in the kitchen. I don’t think I’ll open the oven anymore s each time the temperature must go down. If it’s not ready I’ll have to stall everyone. I am worried about how it will taste. I don’t think I’ll make a turkey again unless it comes out delicious.
So my dream – I dreamt that my kids showed up early – about five. Also some ex SIL’s. All were not invited??????? Does it mean something? I have no idea……………….
So off I go to take my shower and get dressed so I’ll be ready. Have 45 minutes left!!!!!!!!
ONCE AGAIN WISHING EVERYONE A HEALTHY AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

I am sure everything turned out great as always!

hope it all worked out. I found that using the oven baking bag speeds up the turkey cooking time considerably.

hope your turkey was done on time. we had to stall for dinner yesterday cause the turkey didn’t get done for an hour after everything else was ready. take care,

I hope your turkey finished roasting when it was supposed to, but stalling is okay too. Your friends must know that turkeys can be unpredictable.
