MIXED EMOTIONS

TODAY I WAS WITH MY CHILDREN MOST OF THE DAY. It was my granddaughter’s fifth birthday party. When I left after supper I said goodbye to my children and grandchildren. Of course my children know I’ll be going away for the winter. My grandchildren are another story. I am sure one of my grandsons understand as I have been going all his life but the other two I don’t think they understand. Oh well!
As I drove away I couldn’t help feeling sad. On the other hand I can’t wait to leave here on Wednesday. I can’t believe there is only two more days. I haven’t packed a thing yet so will have to start tomorrow big time.
Not much else planned except I am meeting a friend for coffee after lunch. So now I’m going to fold some clothes and go to bed early. I’m exhausted. This morning I went to my friend at seven this morning to help with her garage sale. She did very well/

Hope you have a great trip down and a wonderful time in Florida. I’m sure your grandkids will be fine.

RYN: Oh yeah, I’m still dancing. Even more than before. At least three times a week, sometimes more. The kids are big enough to be left alone. In fact, they prefer it when I’m not home. How did the people like the house yesterday? Have a great time in Florida.

glad you were able to share and enjoy the grandchildren, and the party. I am sure you can keep in touch with them ( even via phone) whilst away……the time will fly. Have a safe and pleasant trip. I am going away tomorrow for a week too. hugs P
