Countdown Clocks

I have to hurry!!!! My house is a mess. I’ve been thinking that I am leaving in a few days and noone will come see the house before I leave. Well the joke is on me!!!! Someone is coming tomorrow. I have to run around and clean up fast. I started to pull out valises etc. I have the kids Hanukah presents waiting to be wrapped. I will have to HIDE everything before they come tomorrow afternoon. It will be so wonderful if they make an offer and even greater if they buy our house.
Today has been busy!!!! I woke at nine. I called hubby.
Someone came to buy our barbecue. YEAH!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe how great KIJIJI is.  My daughter’s friend came to pick up some cookbooks I had for her. Slowly I am ridding this house of clutter.
This afternoon I went for a facial and pedicure.
I went to pick up some paintings I had framed. They look pretty good. I can’t wait to see how they will look in Florida.
I bought some wrapping paper for my grandchildren’s Hanukah presents. I am going to put some small wrapped up gifts into a large box. Not sure if I’ll make one each or just one big one.
I passed by our once large and only mall to take pictures. A once thriving mall is just about dead. They are leaving a few big stores like PHARMAPRIX drug store, a food store, book store, banks and lots of hairdressers etc. Most of it is being demolished to make rooms for town houses and homes for younger families. I took a lot of pictures just to show how it is being torn down.  I wish them luck. Most of this area is seniors. It’s interesting to watch how the community changes.
I’m going out for supper with friends from the campground. It will be a final goodbye. Most do NOT come to Florida.
So time to run around and clean up. More later gator.

when my parents moved to San Diego, there was a huge supermarket around the corner from the apartment. Eventually the entire strip mall was torn down. It’s now an empty lot. It’s sad, since I’d have loved to have the market right there.

Oy, back at ya. hugs and smiles P

As you know, I’ve been absent from OD for a long time. It’ll take awhile to catch up. But where are you moving to? Florida, full time?

Good luck on the prospective buyers!
