MONDAY ALL DAY
Make your own Countdown Clocks
I woke up around nine. I had breakfast and waited for my cleaning lady to arrive. She helped me finish wrapping my coins. Then I made four treasure bottles for her nieces and nephews.
She emptied the junk under the sink in the upstairs bathroom. I went through everything and gave her some, threw out some and she put back the rest. It looks so neat.
My hubby arrived in Florida about lunchtime. I didn’t talk to him since. I will talk to him in the morning. I know he went to friends for supper. He certainly made good time – up at seven and drove till four or five. In just over two days he’s there. I’m very happy for him as he hates the November weather here.
Then I went shopping. I went to the bank to deposit the money I wrapped. Do you want to hear the grand total????????? Over 1000!!!!!!!!!!!! I deposited some in my Canadian account to cover my loan for two months. Then I deposited the rest in my US account for my trip. The worst thing is that I dropped the bag of change!!!!!!!! Money everywhere and the money I had wrapped so carefully was all over the floor. Two women came to help. What a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s too bad they don’t have the coin machines like they have in Florida. All you have to do is drop in the coins and you get a receipt which the teller cashes. It sure is easier than wrapping etc.
I went into the Dollar Store to buy four more bottles for Treasure bottles. I bought some blue and white gravel/sand.
I went to the Jewish store and I bought Hanukah presents for my grandchildren. I bought a bunch of stuff to use in the treasure bottles.
I came home around six. I had supper. It was roasting all afternoon. I had the stew. I have enough for another meal. Then I also made some roast chicken. I’ll eat that tomorrow night.
I spent the evening making HANUKAH TREASURE BOTTLES. I have four ready to go. I wonder if I could make and sell Christmas ones. The issue would be to figure out exactly how much it costs to make each one. I am going to see what my girlfriend thinks as she is having a garage sale on Sunday.
My real estate agent wants to buy one of my Faberge eggs. I told her 75. I almost said 50…………She told me not to worry about selling the house. It doesn’t happen overnight. I’ll be glad when I’m away so I won’t be worried about selling. Out of sight – out of mind!
One of my friends suggested the MORGAN museum in NY. I have to look it up. I am going to visit her after NY. She didn’t say anything about sleeping over so I guess I’ll have to play it by ear.
So that was my day. I went into bed about ten thirty. I was exhausted but now it’s 12 and I’m up!!!!!! No problem. I’ll crawl back into bed soon.
Tomorrow I am meeting a cousin and a friend for lunch. Not sure what else I’ll do.
Wow $1000 is a lot of money, good for you! I keep change in my money pig (still have it) and I will cash it in one day, but I doubt it will be all that much.

Maybe the bank will consider buying a coin machine after the dropped bag mess.

I’m wondering how you even carried that many coins. They must have weighed a ton.
