TOMORROW’S THE DAY

My hubby and son are leaving for Florida tomorrow morning at seven. I just can’t believe it as it seems as if we just came home. When we return we will be moving. Hopefully our house will sell while we are away. Sunday is an Open House. I have been cleaning tonight. I especially started on my hubby’s room in the basement. Hopefully he won’t go check it in the morning. I doubt it as his car is packed and he will be very anxious to leave. I just put away his ten brief cases, extra tools etc. He will have some job when he comes home as he has a million tools.
Today I sold my high chair. Tomorrow someone is suppose to come buy the barbecue. I hope he comes. I LOVE the extra money. I have also sold a few books at Amazon but not making anything as the postage is so high from here to the States. I finally deleted all the books. I won’t have them in Florida anyhow. When I get to Florida I may try to sell some books from there.
Tomorrow I will finish cleaning and getting rid of as much as I can because my hubby won’t be here. Then at night my friend is coming for supper. I am making her supper for her birthday – lamb chops and fries. I have already cut some potatoes. Tomorrow I may cut more. If it’s too much I can always make them during the week.
I am getting so frustrated with my knitting. I am trying to knit a pair of slippers for my sister. I must have restarted at least three times and I have to again. I casted on 59 stitches. I counted them a few times. I knit one row. 58 stitches. I am so aggravated. WHERE DID THAT STITCH GO? When I have patience I’ll try again. I should just give up. I also plan to knit my granddaughter some Barbie Doll clothes. Wish me luck. In Florida at the pool there will be plenty of women who can help. I just don’t know why I can’t do it. I am so careful but…………
I did the Wii again today and so far my body feels ok. I stayed the same weight so that is great.
I went to the dermatologist on Tuesday. She told me I have something on my eyelid so I have to put compresses twice a day and hope that it goes away or not it’s cancer and I’ll need surgery!!!!!!!! However she didn’t think it was cancer!
I am starting to buy Hanukah presents for my grandchildren. I told my son and his girlfriend I would just buy a few things that have to do with Hanukah – a book maybe a video etc. They don’t want me to leave anything for my grandson at his mothers. OK! No problem.
I am getting my younger son a waterproof case for his IPOD. I’ll also buy the headphones. Not sure about my eldest son. I told my hubby to buy him something while he’s in Florida. My daughter will probably want cash when she comes to Florida. I am trying to decide if I want to make a Hanukah party in Florida. I usually do but I am just not in the mood. Maybe it’s because my friend won’t be there. We usually plan and do it together.
I am looking forward to my trip. Albany, New York, SAS shoe outlet, J& R – a store with everything discounted and dolls etc. etc. Oh yes, World Market in Daytona. So I have something very exciting to look forward to.
Actually I must admit that I have been feeling great the last few months. WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!
I am still working on jigsaw puzzles.
I think I’ll go to bed as hubby is going to wake me before he leaves.
