JUST TODAY

I had a very good day today. I guess it was because I was busy and I shopped. I woke up about nine. I got ready and went out for breakfast to McDonalds. There I talked to a few women. The whole restaurant is filled with seniors. I bet if I went there more often I could make some new friends. I’m going back tomorrow as I have an early eye doctor appointment. Will I ever be happy when I’m finished with doctors. I still have to go to the dermatologist and the gynochoclogist. Then I’ll have a clean bill of health!
After that I went to a new wool store. I bought some wool to make my sister slippers and a baby blanket.
Then I drove over to a Jigsaw Puzzle store. I bought a few. I have to go back as they didn’t have one I wanted.
After that I went to Walmart. I bought water and packages of Oh Henry bars. I love them!!!!
I came home, had lunch and a nap. When I woke up I prepared supper – actually it was the leftovers from last night. My son arrived just in time to join us for supper.
Finally we played bridge. I came in last. I’m not surprised as I had lousy hands….hardly any points at all. I served tea and coffee and dessert. For the first time in a long time I pigged out. I don’t think I’ll check my sugar in the morning.
 Tomorrow after the eye doctor I’m meeting a friend for lunch and then we’re going to a bookstore. What else? She’s been reading a lot so will suggest some books for me to read. 
Someone came tonight to buy my Nintendo DS – another fifty dollars in my pocket.
I guess it’s time for bed.
