ROSH HOSHONAH

Tonight is the beginning of the Jewish New Year. I have ten people including my three grandchildren coming for supper. Most of the food is ready. This morning I will make more mock chopped liver as I have a lot of mushrooms left. I will also make knaidles and vegie fried rice. So I don’t have to rush as I have all day. My cleaning lady is also coming.
I have to set the table. I will use my "good" dishes for a change.
I have to cut apples as it’s a tradition to eat apples and honey for a sweet New Year.
In between I will relax and unclutter this house. Last night I did my scrapbook room. I got rid of a table and put stuff in the cupboard. Beware if you open the door!!!!!!! After I declutter rooms I will try to straighten out the cupboards inside. For now I want people to get a good impression when they first enter a room.

This morning while eating I separated my magazines so I have a few empty shelves under my counter. I will put my quilting magazines in the sewing room even though I haven’t read them yet. I am trying to empty rooms and shelves. I will have a challenge getting my hubby to do the same with his stuff but I will do it slowly. I have way more stuff than him.
So my coffee is cold so I will go get some work done like emptying the dishwasher.
Have a good day. Stay healthy. Share a hug. Share a memory.

I’m downsizing belongings, too. Some days are easier than others. LOL! Happy New Year! RYN: Did I spell the title of my entry right or did I mangle it? Thanks for dropping by, Ginger! Always good to see you!
