FRIDAY MORE CLEANING
Friday morning I was tempted to go back to sleep after breakfast. Instead I went down to my book room and organized all the stuff I had brought down from the kitchen. I found a place for everything. I wonder just how much I’ll take from there to the new condo. I will wait to see what the interior decorator suggests. However the one I want to use is going away for three weeks so it will have to wait. I also closed up and put away my art tables, canvasses and paint. I really feel sad that I never painted but what can I do. I just don’t know why. I love to paint yet I don’t. I’m also set up here at the trailer but I don’t paint. Monday I will take everything home from here although I’m not sure why. Maybe I will leave everything for next year.
Then I did the Wii, took a bath and got dressed. I met my friend for lunch. She was leaving in a couple of hours to go to Ottawa as her daughter was leaving for Israel on Saturday. Her daughter will be working at the Canadian Embassy as a lawyer. I gave my friend a small gift bag for her daughter. In it were four tiny notebooks, a tiny pen, a small bottle of hand sanitizer, and address book and small packet of Kleenex. Apparently she was very happy with everything.
I went back home packed up my car and left for the trailer. Of course I ate sunflower seeds the whole way. Also some tiny jujubes. No wonder I’ll never be thin.
For supper hubby and I had steaks.
Then our friends came over and we had a great time playing Canasta. Three women against two men. OF course the women won.
So now it’s the middle of the night. I couldn’t fall asleep. I kept thinking that I should write my son about my grandsons and why I don’t want to take them anymore. I am tired of the commitment but most important factor is I don’t know what to do with them and I don’t think they enjoy it anymore. I don’t want to jump to conclusions so I will hold back and see what develops.
We are here till Monday. No special plans for tomorrow. I will work on my jigsaw puzzle and maybe paint. I will do the Wii.
At night we may play Canasta again.
So now I’ll read some of your entries and then go back to bed.
Believe it or not the heat is going.
Oh, I cleaned out my purse. It’s crazy all the stuff I keep in it. I am sure my purse would win a prize for being the heaviest.
I’m full of advice this morning! Don’t get rid of the paint — it’s a cycle that will come back around. Someday you’ll feel like doing it again. – Also the grandchildren. You’ll be going to Fl soon, so don’t quit seeing them. They are getting older, but you can find things sometimes that will bring you closer. You’ll need the opportunity to present itself. How about card games or board games?

My 6 grandkids (ages 7 – 20) all play both card and board games with us and they love it. It may be “old-fashioned” but kids still like that stuff. They also like the idea of “winning.”

RYN: Yeah, the doc said when I got the first one that it made a kind of pocket, or fistula, inside between my rectum and the skin, so occasionally it gets filled up with waste and gets infected causing an abcess. He said it will probably always do that.
