A QUIET, RELAXING DAY

We spent most of the day at home. I did go out for awhile as I wanted to bring presents for my great nieces and nephews. Sadly the store I wanted to go to was closed. I ended up at the Dollar store so was a lot cheaper. I found some amazing bags for my computer, IPAD etc. Only two bucks so a great deal. I bought the children some magnets and a small box with three drawers which I think is adorable. They can fill it with anything they want.
I did a washing including my hubby’s comforter cover. I packed my clothes but there are always finishing touches like this laptop. I’ll pack it in the morning.
I went on the WII for about 40 minutes.
Ever watch Deal or NO Deal? Most of the contestants are SO STUPID and deserve to win nothing.
I have most of my clothes packed.
I have my medication ready.
My daughter just called. She is not bringing her big stuff home. She will try to sell everything. When she gets to Toronto we will have to buy everything new. FUN!!!!! She certainly costs us a pretty penny. I can’t wait till she’s on her own.
Nothing to do tonight. Just on here and watching 1 against 100. Think I’ll go watch it in the living room with hubby.

I love Deal or No Deal but yes they are all so greedy so they end up with nothing when they could have had something! Daughters are expensive all right I agree with that and I have THREE of them, no wonder I am broke LOL

I haven’t watched Deal or No Deal, but I just read Howie Mandel’s book, “Here’s the Deal Don’t Touch Me” which was interesting. I liked him in St. Elsewhere. Do you remember that program?

RYN thanks for your note . surprisingly the day went well, most of it. lots of laughs, and to your note: we decided to give her ‘one more chance’ to spend the day and try to be nice. we figured since she knew that without us she would spend her 80th birthday ALONE , she might behave well and be nice to us . that worked. she was fairly okay,she almost slipped a few times into becoming angry but we started laughing and changed the subject and then it was okay

sounds like a busy day! i love deal or no deal but i get so tense watching it that i don’t watch it! love the dollar store. there’s a new one in town… the family dollar store… but things are more than one dollar but no more than 10. take care,

Selling and buying new has its advantages and disadvantages depending on the items.
