ONLY A FEW MINUTES-completed
I only have a few minutes to write because we are going to play bridge. I had a good weekend and the week has started out great. I only went out to the country later on Friday. Hubby went Thursday night after we went out for supper with his sister. I had to go back and babysit my three grandchildren. They were sleeping when I arrived so I had nothing to do except go online and watch Tv. In the morning I got them ready for school because my son went to meet his girlfriend who was in Vegas. In the morning I was amazed at how fast the three children got dressed, ate breakfast and were ready to leave. I was up around 6. They were up a little later or I didn’t hear them. By ten past seven we were out the door. YIKES!!!!!!! I dropped them off at school about seven thirty and then dropped my granddaughter off at nursery. By eight I was done. AMAZING!!!
I came home to exercise with the WII. Then I made some business calls. Still no results. BUT the higher ups say that it takes three months before everything comes together so I am hoping. I am still calling and still making up my own emails to send. I drove out to the country about four. No traffic and very pleasant. I ate all the way – mostly sunflower seeds.
Saturday morning I went into town. I put small flyers on car windshields. I have a bunch of strange numbers on my phone. I tried to look them up. All were cell phones and no messages. Tomorrow I will call them all and check out if they were business calls. I can only HOPE!
Saturday night we went to PONDEROSA for supper. I love their chicken wings and mashed potatoes.
On Sunday I made my first PYSANKA egg. The process is fairly easy although I winged it so it is not something I’m proud of. I will see if I can do something on top or else I will just chalk it up to experience. Friends stopped by and we chatted so the day past. Then we drove home to the city.
Monday I made some calls. At night I went out with my old La Leche League friends. It was fun getting caught up.
Today I had a funeral at 12. Then I met my cousin for lunch. We plan to go to Toronto in July to celebrate my sister’s 79th birthday. I am not sure if we will make it a surprise or not. Years ago we took her out for the day. We went to a different restaurant for lunch and supper. Different people met us at each restaurant. Then at night we went to a gay bar. We were planning to go to another bar but it was closed.
Then I went to get a picture framed. Finally I dropped off something at school for my grandson. I came home, made supper and then we went to play bridge. We’re home now at 11 and I think I will go to sleep very soon.
Tomorrow I am staying home. At night we have Cirque Du Soleil.
