THINK JUST THINK

My best friend told me several years ago that I just didn’t think. She was right about me and I am sure about a lot of you. We don’t think!!!!! We don’t think about what is truly important in our lives.
We don’t realize what is most important as we go through our days.
How important is it to make the beds and dust the furniture when our children are wanting to play a game or go to the park. What will wait????
How important is it to watch that program when someone calls to talk or go out for coffee?
How important is it that we wash the dishes after supper when our children want to spend time with us?
How important is it to fold the clothes when our hubby is waiting to go to bed with us?
How important????? THINK!
Drop everything and take your children to the park on a sunny day.
Drop everything and go to a movie or out for coffee with your friend.
And for goodness sakes go to bed with your hubby.
Clothes and dishes can wait for tomorrow but PEOPLE CAN’T AND WON’T WAIT.

One thing I never did was let housework get in the way of me being with my kids or friends. I hate housework! 😉

So true. I like this a lot.

I learned this thru my daughter’s illness. She almost died several times before and they brought her back. We knew her time was limited and I learned to take each day as if it was my last. Your priorities tend to change when you do that.

errr, you forgot something. How important it is to take a Day by yourself, for yourself, when you are a mom or grandmom. PLAN a day into your schedule away from your husband, and not do anything for ANYONE except for yourself. try that truly that is something that is SO important. Take one day. you might like it enough to take two days a month
