SHOPPING AND MORE

 I wrote an entry but it didn’t save so will try to remember what I already wrote.
This morning I woke up before six. I had breakfast and read the newspaper. I was finished about seven thirty. It was too early to go swimming at the clubhouse so I crawled back into bed. Big mistake! I slept till after ten. When I woke up I called a friend to make plans. She wanted to go to MICHAELS to buy some needles and show me what wool to buy for her tomorrow when there is a 25% off your whole order. I agreed to go because I had a forty percent coupon and I always find something to buy there. I bought some tins which have a see through window. I like to keep some crackers and other food in the  tins so they don’t get soggy. I wish the windows were on the sides too.
The we went for pedicures and I had the hair waxed off my face. The woman was a bit rough as she took off too much at once. Atleast it is done. Now I just have to go for my hair and a manicure before going on the cruise next Saturday.
Then I dropped her off at home and went to delray Beach. I went to buy a purse I had seen Saturday night. I thought it was nine four dollars but it was only 48. I was a happy camper. The purse is unique as it is like two purses in one. It is a large purse and then on the front is a large "change" purse. I bet my daughter will want one when she sees it.
I met some women I knew on the street. I talked to them for a few minutes and then went inside to buy an ice cream. For the first time in my life I considered it lunch. Usually I would have lunch before or after I ate junk. When I came out of the store the women were sitting outside eating their ice cream. They invited me to join them. For the life of me I don’t know why I didn’t as I could use some new friends although there is no guarantee they would become friends.
I went home and had a nap. Tonight we went out with hubby’s sister and her husband and her daughter and her husband. Supper was nothing special but it was pleasant to be together.
