We are home tonight and I’ve been wandering around wondering what to do. The trouble is I don’t really feel like doing anything so I sit down and doze. I decided to just crawl into bed but then I saw the cedar chest and decided to see what’s in it. It’s so packed with linens. It’s the only place here that I have for the stuff.
I emptied everything but now I have to go put it all back but who feels like it?? I’ll have to because everything is on the bed!!!! Maybe I’ll get rid of some. The cleaning lady comes tomorrow so I can get rid of what I don’t use. I put on the same sheets every week……………………………………….
This afternoon we went to a friend for brunch. It was very pleasant. The food was great and plentiful. Everyone brought something. I brought my mocked chopped liver which is always a hit.
It rained all morning. The weather has really been the pits. I woke up late so didn’t go swimming but I certainly will tomorrow morning.
I spoke to my friend back home. She finally realizes that she won’t be able to come this year. Her mother is just too sick. I feel sad for her as I know how difficult it is to watch a parent or anyone else deteriorate.
Tomorrow I’ll be busy. In the morning I’m going swimming and then in the afternoon I have my art class. I enjoy painting but I don’t like when we look at each other’s paintings and talk about them. I wish I knew why. There is no criticism. People just talk about what they see and how they feel when they look at the painting. Something about the process has always bothered me so I don’t know why I keep going back.
Anyways only five sessions. I much prefer the stained glass.
So back to my cedar closet……………..
Last night we went to Delray Beach and walked around. We had a scrumptious ice cream. We went into an art gallery and I saw an abstract painting for 7000. I couldn’t believe it as some of mine are the same!!!!
